It's hard to see, but the pit in the middle of the picture is where the Twin Towers used to be.
This building, right next to the WTC, was damaged when the towers collapsed.
The guestbook. (In case you're wondering, no, I didn't sign. There was no room. Plus, I didn't have a pen.)
This is a long, long list of all those who died in the attacks. (It took six panoramics to get the whole list.) The inscription at the top reads, "I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of sacrifice" --quoted from Abraham Lincoln
On the way in: a tiny but intriguing portion of the fence leading up to Ground Zero. The fence reminded me of the one around the Oklahoma City memorial. (That is a child-sized doll, by the way, not a real person. I wouldn't have been comfortable taking the picture if it was a real person kneeling there in prayer.)
